Low friction eye-extra large | C-Tech XL® carbon ring
The Nodus Factory C-Tech XL low-friction carbon ring is specially designed for multiple maneuvering systems (3D genoa clew adjustment). Unlike conventional low-friction rings, the C-Tech XL ring has a larger inner eye, while maintaining very high working loads.
Carbon thimble Din 3091 | Friction ring thimble
Reinforced DIN 3091 thimble : performance and durability for your ropes The reinforced DIN 3091 thimble is an essential element for reliable, long-lasting rope connections. Versatile and high-performance, it offers numerous advantages: C-Tech Carbon ring with wide passage for adaptation to all types of ropes Low Friction Self-lubricating C-Tech® technical polyamide for reduced friction and improved performance 30% carbon for increased strength and exceptional longevity Complies with DIN 3091 standard for optimum safety Easy to use, it can be fitted and removed quickly without special tools.
Violin pulley | BF-D® Block-Friction
Nodusfactory's Block-Friction® FrD duralumin anodized pulley is a top-of-the-range product offering numerous advantages in terms of performance, durability and ease of use. Exceptional strength-to-weight ratio (10 times lighter than a pulley), designed for high static loads. Block-Friction® pulleys can be used for 3:1 or 4:1 downhaul or mainsail hoists, as well as for cunningham adjusters or sheet point hoists on larger boats. Our violin pulleys are perfect for applications requiring low rope movement (speed) and low angle (the greater the deflection, the greater the friction).
C-Tech® carbon friction rings, Nodus Factory™ are very light, reliable and highly resistant to friction for dynamic use. Essential aboard your sailboat with our textile connectors "Loops, Lock,..." to be able to optimize your deck plan for greater safety and performance. Carbon rings are around 10 times lighter than aluminum rings and 6 times lighter than steel rings. This lightness is a major advantage in applications where weight is a limiting factor, such as sailing or aviation.
Block friction ring| Ring-Nub®
Ring-Nub® is an open spherical low-friction ring that withstands very high loads and is available for strings from 3 mm to 12 mm maximum. Ring-Nub offers a unique combination of advantages in terms of performance, durability and ease of use. It's an excellent choice for applications where friction must be minimized and strength maximized. See examples of NUB® low-friction ring applications with textile connectors (textile shackle, loop, erse, lock and hook) in the category PLUG & SAIL .
Trapeze spoon in Dyneema®| Textile-Trap®
Trap®, trapeze spoon with low friction ring to facilitate the use of the boom height adjustment (hoist 1/2) The Loop Dyneema® R2 trapeze spoon & Nodus low friction ring made of M3 technical resin is easy to use, very light and resists heavy loads. Material: Dyneema® / UHMWPE / Polymer / PEEK
Fr P-Tech® , Nodus Factory™ rings are self-lubricating, very light and reliable. They can be used in many applications with any type of non-abrasive rope: Static use : low friction speed, P-Tech (Low friction) Dynamic use : high friction speed, P-Tech C (High friction) Find out more about load forces as a function of deflection angle HERE Materials: Polymer
FrD low-friction rings in Duralumin Nodus Factory™ are lightweight, reliable and durable. Essential aboard your sailboat with our textile connectors "Textile shackles, Loops, Lock®,...", you'll be able to optimize your deck layout for greater safety and performance, and with any type of rope: Dyneema®, polyester, Technora® (aggressive grip).
