Hook Textile FrD 14 & FrD 20
The 3 Pillars of Our Innovation
1. Material Performance (Lightweight & Durable)
The hook and T-bone of the connector are machined from a solid block of 7075 aluminum, then subjected to hard anodizing. This surface treatment provides extreme resistance to abrasion, marine corrosion, and high breaking loads, while weighing one-third as much as stainless steel. The Dyneema® shackle guarantees an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio without the risk of deformation under heavy loads.
2. Integral Safety (Reliability Under Extreme Conditions)
The secure locking mechanism provided by the T-bone connector prevents any accidental opening, even when the rigging is subjected to impacts or flapping (rope movement without tension). The geometry of the textile hook perfectly matches the radius of curvature of the lines to limit overheating and preserve the lifespan of your sheets and halyards.
3. Ergonomics and Modularity (Ease of Use)
No more tedious maneuvers. This textile connector can be installed and operated with one hand, even while wearing gloves. The hook can be removed instantly, transforming this product into an ultra-versatile clew or flying anchor system.
