maintenance of Nodus Factory PAs

Here are some key properties of Nodus Factory glass-filled PA:

High tensile strength: Nodus Factory glass-filled PA has a high tensile strength, making it a strong and durable material. The addition of fiberglass to the polymer matrix improves the tensile strength of PA, making it a more suitable choice for use in applications where high strength is required.

High modulus of elasticity: Nodus Factory glass-filled PA has a high modulus of elasticity, making it a stiff and rigid material. The addition of glass fiber to the polymer matrix improves the elastic modulus of PA, making it a more suitable choice for use in applications where high stiffness is required.

Excellent impact resistance: Nodus Factory glass-filled PA has excellent impact resistance, making it a suitable choice for use in applications where high impact resistance is required.

Good chemical resistance: Nodus Factory glass-filled PA resists a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases and organic solvents, making it a suitable choice for use in harsh environments.

UV Resistant: Nodus Factory glass-filled PA is resistant to UV rays, making it suitable for use in exterior applications.

Weather Resistant: Nodus Factory Glass Filled PA is weather resistant, making it suitable for use in exterior applications.

Low coefficient of friction: Nodus Factory glass filled PA has a low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for use in applications where low friction is required.

PA66 GF60 is a versatile material used in a wide range of applications where its excellent mechanical and thermal properties, together with its good chemical resistance and low coefficient of friction, make it a suitable choice.

Why do plastics tarnish over time?

There are multiple answers to this question. But the main cause is discoloration linked to UV rays and drying of the PA. Using the wrong washing products can also lead to discoloration of plastics. This intense black side quickly transforms into gray.
Good news: this is not a permanent discoloration, it is enough to treat the exterior plastics to restore their original intensity.

How to renovate bleached plastics?

The renovation of plastics is done in 2 stages. The first consists of cleaning the plastics in order to make the renovation product adhere. To do this, use a multi-purpose cleaner or degreaser and apply generously to the surface. If possible, brush to remove dirt and wipe with a microfiber.

Once the plastics are very clean, simply apply W40 or Slick from the French brand Fictech. The easiest way is to apply a few drops to a foam applicator and apply it to the desired area. Once done, all you have to do is remove the excess with microfiber
