Description

T-drop®, is a load-opening snap shackle mounted on a halyard swivel, ready for use on sheet and halyard, with a hollow braid core. Specially designed for downwind sheets, it doesn't require an opening pin, is easy to use and very light.


+ Use

Tying on Dyneema® or Polyester braid - Nodus & tip

  • Tie a knot in your rope +/- 3 m apart.
  • Slide the sheath of the rope towards the knot, to reveal the core of the hollow braid over 150cm.
  • Insert your estrope into the hollow core as far as it will go
  • Temporarily secure the core and estrope by wrapping a simple sticker around the upper part
  • Then reassemble the sheath by sliding it over the core all the way to the top
  • Then overbind or use our "Option" heating sleeves.

  • Textile-Block is an attachment device specially designed for the clew (ring, strap, etc.).
  • The Textile Block is a small Dyneema® loop supplied with a System Block® locking ring.
